At the Sultry Summer Wine Experience you will
have the chance to meet Team Dussini, including
Executive Chef Walter Manikowski, Wine
Specialist Lindsey Pomeroy and General Manager

Meet
Our New Executive Chef
Dussini Mediterranean Bistro is very excited to
introduce our new Executive Chef, Walter
Manikowski. Walter began his training at the
prestigious Villa du Parc Country Club. He moved
to San Diego in 1998 to work as Sous Chef at The
Sea Lodge at La Jolla Shores. Walter later
became Executive Chef at Vinifera Restaurant and
Wine Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Vinifera
became critically acclaimed as a 3 ½ star, top
20 restaurant for three consecutive years with
Chef Walter at the helm. Walter has been
featured on The Food Network Program for “The
best of…” for his accomplishments and
international flair at Vinifera. |
Before returning to San Diego, Walter took a three year
detour to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he served as
Executive Chef at the historic Hotel St Francis. Between
heading all culinary operations and launching an
extensive wine program for the Hotel St Francis, Walter
found time to participate in the community through many
charity events. Walter hosted events for Habitat for
Humanity and served on the Santa Fe Wine and Chile
Committee and Santa Fe restaurant Association.

you don’t have tickets to the game, watch it on
our TVs surrounding the bar and stay for dinner!
